Cadence
Cadence, the ultimate voice processing solution, was designed to seamlessly integrate into the original DCS, the DCS 50si and the DCS 400si. Its proprietary design works exclusively with the STA keyphone systems. The digital signal processor-based architecture is engineered to handle the complexities of automated answering, call routing and voice messaging. It also features answering machine emulation, call record, unique voice messaging for internal messages and a host of fax functions. Fax storage, fax retrieval and faxes forwarding to numbers specified by the user are exciting features in the work of voice and fax processing.
The Samsung Cadence Voice Mail System comes with 4 ports and can be upgraded to 8 ports on the Samsung DCS and DCS 50si. A Cadence installed in a DCS 400si can support up to 16 ports. (The number of ports equals the number of calls that can be in the voice mail system at one time. These callers may be leaving messages, retrieving messages or going through the auto attendant.) All Cadence systems come standard with 1000 mailboxes and 100 hours of voice storage time.

SVMi-4
The SVMi-4 is a self-contained plug in voice mail and auto attendant card for the DCS Compact and DCS 50si. It is designed to provide sophisticated features, installation simplicity, and competitive pricing. The SVMi-4 comes equipped with 2 ports and capability for 16 mailboxes, and it can be easily upgraded to 4 ports and 32 mailboxes. The SVMi-4 has no moving parts. The memory capacity is almost 5 hours. Extension and mailbox information is automatically downloaded upon power up, and the system will operate as soon as it is turned on. Just record the appropriate company greetings, and have each user set up their mailbox options. The system administrator can perform simple administration from any touch tone phone.
